Guanacaste, the most sparsely populated of all the provinces of Costa Rica, is located in the northwestern part of the country, along the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Guanacaste’s climate and culture are unique among Costa Rican provinces. Tourists seek out this dry heat during the North American winter to enjoy the breathtaking Guanacastecan beaches. But what about Yoga lovers? Good news! Yes, here are some excellent yoga studios. But among these studios Playa Negra Yoga Center is a special one. Let’s see why.

As Playa Negra Yoga hosts their classes at screened bug-free studio of Peace Retreat, you can enjoy yoga sessions there comfortably. Newly painted studio decorated with excellent chakra paintings has all the facilities you have been craving for. Their outdoor washroom facility is perfect for after yoga shower. Even you can have a dip in their pool. 20 yogis can easily practice here as they have enough yoga mats, props and straps.

Okay, the studio is fine, but what about the teachers? Another good news! All the teachers are experienced and well trained. They have four International Yoga Teachers who facilitate yoga alliance registered yoga teacher training, yoga classes & workshops around the world. Among the teachers, Kevin is a certified Baptiste Yoga Teacher, and Program Director for all week long Baptiste Yoga Teacher Training Bootcamps. Hali is Costa Rica’s first Certified Bapsite Power Yoga Teacher. Catherine is certified to teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Kripalu, Kundalini and Iyengar yoga. And Rosalia combines all of her trainings, which are in Ashtanga, Anusara and Hatha yoga to create her own dynamic & creative flow class.
