Ahki Retreat

Ahki Retreat started back in early 2000. This retreat center was established to pave the way towards a more fulfilling and purposeful life. Karen and Greg Heil are co founders of Ahki Retreat.  For establishing the retreat they  have chosen Costa Rica and designed the retreat center connected with nature and the natural flow of the Universal energy.

Location:

Ahki retreat is only 10 minutes ( 3 kilometers) drive from Garza which is a quaint fishing village with a lovely beach. There you will meet more locals than tourists. If you go more 15 to 20 minute drive north you will reach Nosara with Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada.There you will get the opportunity to enjoy meals in wonderful restaurants, shopping and various activities.

Accommodations:

Two large cabins are just a short walk away from the retreat main house. There are six sizable guest rooms which can accommodate up to 3 people in each room. In all rooms you will find large windows and doors, ceiling fans. There are plenty of overhead ventilation for optimal airflow. In every room there are bathroom with a large unique and luxurious outdoor/indoor shower. There are also decks and patios that will give you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. There are media room, library where you can spend time in reading or by watching movies. You can also get a 700 sq.ft. covered, open air, practice studio that has a grand view of the mountains, ocean and valleys. You can enjoy swimming in reflecting pool.

Activities:

While staying at Ahki Retreat, you will get the opportunity to explore the area of Costa Rica and enjoy all the nature activities. Though the retreat center is in a remote area, it is only minutes away from beaches, horseback riding, fishing excursions, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing and more fun activities.

Facilities:

Ahki offers many workshops, teacher trainings, workshops, tranquil surroundings. You will find many comfortable and enjoyable facilities. US style on-demand heaters will be provided for reliable, safe environmentally-friendly hot water. All the rooms are decorated with Handcrafted Costa Rican hardwood furniture.Ahki retreat also offers daily housekeeping, transportation from/to local excursions. It also offers delicious meals. You can use free WiFi. There are a mountainside infinity-edge, salt water pool where you can enjoy swimming. If you wish you can enjoy variety of healing or message services.
