Punta Mona

Located on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, Punta Mona is an organic farm with 85 acre area. It is a Community and Center for education and sustainable living. In our daily busy life we can hardly get some time to enjoy and sometimes we become stressed, tensed and depressed and want to escape away. Punta Mona is a perfect place for enjoying some memorable time close to the nature. Punta Mona is a center for sustainability and education as well. While staying at this center, you will get opportunity to learn about all aspects of sustainable life with some of the pioneers, speaking from a modern perspective, in this area.

Location:

From this sustainable community about eight kilometers to the north is a town of Manzanillo and about ten kilometers south is the small town of Gandoca. Set hidden in the jungle, this center is not far from the coast. There are no main roads leading to the center. Visitors often hike from Manzanillo or they take a boat ride.

Yoga:

Punta Mona offers different types of Yoga sessions, workshops and teacher training program. You will enjoy practicing the workouts in a gorgeous, isolated setting. Each day you will start with a meditation, yoga and fresh vegetarian breakfast. Throughout your week you will learn about soulfulness, Soul Realignment and ways to live a more Soul-centered life. In the evening you will enjoy more yoga and meditation as well as other little exercises to build both individual and collective love, joy and power. These Yoga sessions will allow you to discover the true inner self hidden inside of you.

Activities:

At the time of staying in Punta Mona, you will enjoy a variety of fun and adventure activities. You will get opportunity to learn about Permaculture and it’s design opportunities. You can learn Yoga and also can take a training program to become a Yoga instructor. You can also get job opportunities, internships and volunteering positions.

There are lots of gardens used for growing foods and plants used in various different practices. Punta Mona also have course centers for education and offers comfortable accommodations. You can also learn the process of building homes like cabins and tree houses by using the renewable materials and resources found right there in the jungle.

In Punta Mona you will have a incredible socializing and learning experience.
