Whether you consider yourself a yogi, an outdoor or nature enthusiast or are just looking for a more meaningful vacation in a beautiful destination, our retreats are designed for those with the various backgrounds and intentions in mind.<\/p>\n

The Yoga - finding balance in nature<\/strong><\/pre>\n
The type of yoga practiced on Vajra Sol retreats is vinyasa flow with influences from Anusara yoga and is held at either a more energetic or relaxed pace depending on the feel of the day and flavored with each teacher\u2019s personal style. Vinyasa flow yoga synchronizes the asanas, or poses, with the breath creating a rhythmic flow. It is about the integration of mind, body and breath with a physical focus is on improved flexibility, balance and strength to build and maintain a healthy body.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Each day a 1.5-2-hour yoga session (depending on trip or retreat) is led by a Vajra Sol skillful and caring yoga teacher. All levels of experience are welcome. Sessions are tailored to the group\u2019s ability and are typically held at an intermediate level with modifications offered for those with less experience and those more advanced. We practice on comfortable platforms or wooden decks in the temperate open air of the tropics. Please inquire with us to learn more about the yoga teacher for a specific trip\/retreat.<\/p>\n

The retreat is held at a very unique and spectacular ecolodge surrounded by a 740-acre private nature reserve in the heart of the Pacuare rainforest. Included in the retreat is a guided rainforest hike and a zipline canopy tour. Optional activities include horseback riding, canyoning, rafting and to receive a massage.
